The toughest phone
Sonim XP1 has been around for enough time that a number of people have tried throwing it from the second floor, bashing it against a wall, running it over with a car, pouring it with what-not, and even shooting it with a gun. Luckily, all those attempts have been recorded on video, so we've picked the best - most of them are short and are quite fun actually.

...The only thing that seems to remain a mystery yet is "Will it blend?".

try this w/your iphone...

i need this. really.

"...even shooting it with a gun."

Yessir! A .308 Winchester (7.62x51 NATO round) will cut through bullet-proof glass at 200 meters like butter but not that cell phone!. :giggle:

Nice phone but waaaaaaay too much hyperbole.

3 things (at least) that could destroy that phone within 10 seconds----Rosie O'Donnell sitting on it, Mats Sundin taping it to his stick, and throwing it as a fastball to Aramis Ramirez.

A distant 4th way to break it (just for argument's sake): soak it in the Mississippi River around Baton Rouge for 3 minutes; sandwich it in 2 halves of a fresh jalapeno from Juarez and coat the outside with cream cheese from any U.S. supermarket. Wrap a piece of raw hickory-smoked bacon around the whole thing and, using toothpicks to keep the thing together, grill @ 300F for 10 minutes per side on a propane grill or until the bacon is crispy.

Serve with braized asparagus and/or fresh redskin potatoes.

Your guests will be blown away by the great taste and Sonim will be loving having to eat perfectly-cooked crow.

MO/NVY/Lino----we need a recipe forum!!!
