has anybody gotten skype to work in the x64 version? adobe reader in either? looks like back to vista or xp. need the reader...

:rofl_mini: MO, adobe reader 9 works just fine prints fine also, skype beta 4.0 works in win 7 x64 :bluerip:

strom, i couldn't get adobe reader running in the 32 bit version...as for skype beta, i'll give it a try :rofl_mini:

Adobe is a bit of bloat so Sumatra is choice, can be portable, and probably would work in x86 and x64 versions of most if not all OS versions, including 7 I would think, also it is free as well.

lol, skype will not work in the x64 version, period. tried compatibility for everything...nothing. i'm not going to bother w/this. big disappointment. same as the first pre beta win7 x64: usless.

:rofl_mini: sorry to hear that MO, as adobe acrobat reader 9 and the beta 4.0 of skype, are working just fine in my install of win7-64 bit if u don't beleive me ask Dave as I was chatting with him Leif and Chris earlier this afternoon :bluerip:

i get no text in the skype windows. a blank window w/a question mark in reader...

I'll try and get one for ya sphere :bluerip: but it wont be till around 8pm here tonight (UK) if schedule for release holds out?

The way its going just now, the servers are straining already lol, and that's without any download links/keys available yet.
