To find your system uptime in Windows:
1. Open a Command Prompt window.
2. Type the following command: net statistics server | Find "since"

In Linux:

oh I think I got it. I had to type only "net statistics server", right? I was trying to type the whole line that's why it wasn't giving me anything. It says the stats are since 11/3/2007 10:54 AM could that be it? That must be the last time I powered up my system. That's pretty far from nvy's 30-90 days!

Correct. That's it. Adding the
 | Find "since"
gets rid of all the other info.

Just your main desktop system. Don't include your folding boxes or pr0n servers.

Unless your main system is a pr0n server.

Impressive. I think my electricity goes out more often than that.

Like 9 hours. I'm always screwing around with it. Can't leave well enough alone.
