I think Banshee is a pretty good one.
Install Automatix and then use it to install iLinux (Banshee is included). You can also use Automatix to install codecs like MP3 and a bunch of other stuff.
A couple other iTunes alternatives are Exaile and Songbird. All these can be installed with Automatix.

for Ipod's Gtkpod is good, it also gets installed with iLinux an Automatix.
Also an this is not geared for Gnome but it works an good in my opinion, Amarok.
but for any mp3 player to work you will need the codec's

yea the one in ilife works, but for some reason not all my music made it onto linux. most of it did, but some of the more recent stuff didn't (stuff i DEFFINETLY had before installing linux). any ideas?\

I heard Songbird is Linux compatible, its not a bad program, its not itunes, but its winampish (sort of)

Songbird isn't bad but it does tend to crash every now and then. Especially when trying to alter the skins. If you do not mind installing KDE liberies you might even consider using Amarok.
