im happy to see you applying it to a test partition. As for me, im very happy the way W7 runs and hope MS keeps with the tradition. When its released i will wait until others confirm that it truly is a needed SP before i install

I've updated a fresh copy of Win2008R2 to SP-1 (v.153) and it's running smoothly. After install it gave me 3 days to activate, but "Chew Activation Workarround" worked fine and now it reports "Activated Status".
