Windows Live Messenger looks fresher and cleaner, its easier to use and its new features mean its either up with the other IM clients or its better.

ill prolly use live, seems pretty nice for cosmetics, aslong as a plus! is realeased (which it will be)

Thats good to see 
MS have had to introduce new things on all levels with all products cos people have either copied or got a similar idea, and the margin between got smaller.
