i believe Microsoft eventually, they just fired out the Xbox360, there will be more games, Office12 this year i think and of course vista.
Also online Microsoft are takin the game up a step with their new Live services.

Yeah, and also this range of Live services will tempt a lot of people.
The only reason i don't like msn as a homepage is all the adverts and links, if they made one called Msnlite or something that was basic with nothing on the page i would use it.

hard to tell, MS's successes are more in one big go and real public, whereas google are better and going bit by bit without being noticed heaps

Google aren't making an OS, it turned out to be a rumor, they released a statement on that.
And at the gadget thing in Vegas, bill gates just about put Windows everywhere, media, gadgets, phones...computers of course as well.
The year 2006 will be an interesting year for technology, everyone wants improvements and new stuff. i think MS will take advantage of all of this.
